The Arab Palestinian Investment Company (APIC) held the annual Ramadan Breakfast for the SOS Children’s Village in Bethlehem, with the children and mothers of the village, in the presence of the Chairman and CEO of APIC, Mr. Tariq Omar Al Akkad and the National Director of the Palestinian Children’s Villages, Mr. Mohammed Shalaldeh.
The event included the distribution of gifts to children and recreational activities, competitions and games that contributed to the joy within the hearts of children.
Al-Akkad met with the National Director of SOS Children’s Villages and the village management team. He also toured the facilities and houses of the village, and expressed his great happiness with the participation of children in this joyful atmosphere during the holy month of Ramadan. He also reflected: “We are proud to support this institution, which provides its humanitarian services to enhance the values of interdependence, and social solidarity, and to help these children in their educational and professional careers, as well as give them hope for a better future.
This annual Ramadan breakfast is organized by APIC on an annual basis as it is part of its social responsibility to provide support to the SOS Children’s Villages – Palestine. In 2015, APIC signed a three-year agreement to support Family Based Care program in the SOS children’s villages and the Education for a Better Future program.
